What We Do

La Plata Archuleta Water District exists to provide essential, reliable and safe potable public water and fire protection water in southeast La Plata County and possibly southwest Archuleta County. Many properties in the area do not have the availability of a viable well or suitable quality of water, requiring residents to haul water for domestic use.
